Irving, Texas, August 15, 2025 — The U.S. Department of State has released the September 2025 Visa Bulletin, with the final action dates for India’s employment-based visa categories showing no forward movement this month.

In the EB-1 (Priority Workers) category (reserved for individuals with extraordinary ability, outstanding professors or researchers, and certain multinational executives), the cut-off date for India stands at February 15, 2022. This continues to be one of the most sought-after categories for highly accomplished professionals.

In contrast, the EB-5 (Unreserved Investor) category for India holds at November 15, 2019, reflecting comparatively shorter wait times. Meanwhile, the EB-5 Set-Aside Subcategories (covering rural projects, high-unemployment areas, and infrastructure projects) remain current. The eligible applicants can proceed in this category without delay.
